Atheism (part 1 of 2): Denying the Undeniable <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The greatest tragedy in life is to lose God and not to miss Him. \u201d <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

atheists may <\/span>affirm <\/span>that they do not recognize the existence of God, but the view of some Christians and all Muslims is that even die-hard atheists confirm God’s presence to some extent. <\/span>The innate but denied consciousness of God typically only appears on the surface of an atheist’s consciousness when he is in times of intense stress, as the quote from the Second World War exemplifies: „There are no atheists in a burrow.“ [1]<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

There are undoubtedly times – be it in the agonizing days of a protracted illness, the seemingly everlasting moments of a brutal and humiliating robbery, or in the fraction of a second of the premonition of a bad car collision – in which all people understand the reality of human fragility and the absence recognize human control over their fate. <\/span>Whom does a man plead for help under such circumstances, if not his creator? <\/span>Such moments of despair should remind everyone, from religious scholars to atheists, of humanity’s dependence on a far greater reality than our own miserable one. <\/span>A reality by far greater in knowledge, strength, will, majesty and honor.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

At such moments of grief, when all human attempts have failed and no element of material existence offers hope of comfort or salvation, who else will that person call? <\/span>How many invocations caused by this tension are made to God at such moments of the test, with the promise of lifelong piety? <\/span>And how many of them are held? <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Undoubtedly, the day of greatest pain is Judgment Day, and it will be disastrous for a person to recognize the existence of God only on that day. <\/span>The English poet, Elizabeth Barrett Browning, spoke of the irony of the desperate human reputation in The Cry of the Human: <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

and lips say, „God be merciful“,<\/span><\/span>
\nWho never said: „God, you are praised“. <\/span><\/span>
\nThe thoughtful atheist, the skeptic, who fears the possibility of the existence of God, may wish to do the \u201cprayer of the skeptic\u201d as follows:. <\/span><\/span>
\n„O Lord – if there is a Lord, <\/span><\/span>save my soul – if I have a soul.“ [2] <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Given the skepticism that blocks belief, how can a person be wrong with the above prayer? <\/span>If atheists remain unbelieving, they will not be worse off than before; <\/span>should belief follow a sincere appeal, Thomas Jefferson has the following to say:.<\/span><\/span>
\n\u201cIf you find a reason to believe that there is a God, an awareness that you are acting under His supervision and that He approves of it, you will feel a great deal of excitement; <\/span>as if there was a future state, the hope of a happy existence that stimulates the appetite to be worthy of it … \u201d[3]<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

It can be suggested that if an individual cannot see the proof of God in the magnificence of His creation, the advice should be given to take another look at it. <\/span>As Francis Bacon is quoted: „I would rather believe all the stories from the legends and the Talmud and the Alcoran (ie Quran), because this is a universal framework without an inclination.“ [4] His comment continued: “ God has never worked a miracle to convince atheism because its simple works are convincing. \u201d[5] Remarkable is the fact that even the lowest elements of God’s creation, although common from His point of view, are ours Represent miracles. <\/span>Take a little animal like a spider as an example. <\/span>Does anyone actually believe <\/span>that such an extraordinary complicated creature developed from the original soup? <\/span>Only one of these marvels can produce up to seven different types of silk, some as thin as the wavelength of visible light, but stronger than steel. <\/span>Silk varies from the elastic, sticky strands for traps to non-stick tow ropes and frame threads to the silk to encase the prey, to make the egg bag, etc. The spider can not only produce seven types of silk of its own choice, as required, but absorb, tear off and restore them again – recycling down to the basic elements. <\/span>And this is just a small part of the spider’s miracle.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

And yet humanity rises to the heights of arrogance. <\/span>Thinking for a moment should make human hearts tend to be humble. <\/span>Look at a building and you think of the architect, a sculpture and you understand the sculptor. <\/span>But examine the subtle intricacies of creation, from the complex structure and harmony of the physics of the nuclear particles to the cartographically undetected vastness of space, and one person doesn’t worry … nothing? <\/span>Surrounded by a world of synchronous complications, we humans cannot even assemble the wing of a mosquito. <\/span>And the whole world and the whole universe exist in a state of perfect orchestration as a result of random events, <\/span>who shaped the cosmic chaos into a balanced perfection? <\/span>Some choose chance, others choose creation.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n(part 2 of 2): A Question of Understanding <\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

Most of the arguments of the atheists call for the compatibility of an all-loving God with the perceptible injustices of life. <\/span>Religious identify such challenges as a reflection of the pride of intellectuals – as the assumption that we as human beings, ourselves an element of creation, know better than God how to order His creation – combined with the lack of appreciation for higher planning.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The confused and sensitive souls who find it difficult to reconcile God’s existence with a rough and often painful life deserve pity and explanation. <\/span>If someone accepts the fact that God knows what He is doing and we don’t, he or she should be deeply satisfied with the understanding that things don’t necessarily have to be what they seem at first. <\/span>Perhaps the unfortunate worms of humanity deserve their lot in this life for the unforeseen, and maybe they suffer only a short worldly existence to receive eternal reward in the next life. <\/span>Not to forget, God has given the privileged of His creation (ie the Prophet) the greatest worldly gift of security, guidance and revelation, <\/span>however, they suffered considerably in worldly terms. <\/span>The trials and worries of most people fade in the face of those of the prophets. <\/span>Although some people suffer terribly, the hopeful message that the ark types of God’s darlings, especially the prophets, have been deprived of the joys of this life, is in exchange for the rewards in the hereafter. <\/span>A person can expect a comparable reward for those who endure the trials and hardships of this life by remaining steadfast in true faith. <\/span>were deprived of the joys of this life in exchange for the rewards in the hereafter. <\/span>A person can expect a comparable reward for those who endure the trials and hardships of this life by remaining steadfast in true faith. <\/span>were deprived of the joys of this life in exchange for the rewards in the hereafter. <\/span>A person can expect a comparable reward for those who endure the trials and hardships of this life by remaining steadfast in true faith.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Accordingly, a person cannot be judged to expect the unbelieving tyrants and oppressors to have all the joys of this world, but none in the hereafter. <\/span>Some of the well-known inmates of hell come to mind. <\/span>Pharaoh, for example, lived an extremely splendid life to the extent that he declared himself the Supreme God. <\/span>Most likely, opinions will have changed when the wind changed. <\/span>In any case, one can reasonably expect that he will be rather dissatisfied with his hot stay at the moment and the memory of his plush carpets, his fine food and his fragrant servants have lost their magic as a consolation given the heat of the moment.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Most people know the experience when a great day ends in a bad mood due to a bitter event or outcome. <\/span>Nobody appreciates a fine meal that ends in divorce, a Romanesque interlude that is rewarded with AIDS, or a festive evening that ends in a brutal robbery or a crippling car accident. <\/span>How could he have been good? <\/span>Similarly, there is no joy in this life, no matter how great the enthusiasm was or how long it lasted, which would not be erased from the memory immediately with a 100% complete body burn. <\/span>One side of the hand represents 1% of the total body surface of a person, if a small part of the fingertip burns during a kitchen fire, <\/span>this corresponds to less than a thousandth of the total body surface. <\/span>Nonetheless, who does not completely forget everything small, everything great, everything at the moment, the painful thermal pain? <\/span>The terrible pain of burning the whole body, especially when there is no relief – no jumping back, no pulling away – is beyond human imagination. <\/span>The few who have survived such burns agree. <\/span>The torments of burning the whole body not only exceed the limits of human imagination, but the terrible pain cannot be adequately described in our language at all. <\/span>The horror cannot be adequately rendered by one who lacks experience, nor by those who have been hurt,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c\u2026 But this life on the other side (compared to the other world) is nothing but a temporary pleasure.\u201d <\/span>(Quran 13:26) <\/span><\/span>
\nWith regard to the subject matter of this Appendix [1], two elements deserve special attention, the first is that all people have an innate knowledge of the existence of God deep within. <\/span>Humanity may spiritualize this consciousness in search of the comforts and joys of this world, but deep down, all of humanity knows the truth. <\/span>In addition, God knows that we know and He alone can measure the level of revolt and \/ or loyalty of each individual.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The second element of dawning spiritual awareness is easy to understand that there is rarely a free meal. <\/span>Very rarely does someone get something for nothing. <\/span>In the end, if a man works for a boss he doesn’t understand or disagree with, he still has to do his job to get paid. <\/span>Nobody goes to work and just says, „I’m at work,“ expecting a payment slip based on nothing but an unproductive presence. <\/span>Accordingly, mankind must fulfill an obligation consisting in the service and worship of God if it hopes to receive His reward. <\/span>This is not just our purpose in life, it is the description of our work. <\/span>For this reason, Muslims claim<\/span><\/span>
\n„And I only created the Ginn and the people to serve me.“ <\/span>(Quran 51:56)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Many people question the meaning of life, but the position of believers of many religions is exactly the one described above – mankind exists for no other reason than to serve and worship God. <\/span>The suggestion is that every single element of creation exists either as an aid or test for humanity in fulfilling this duty. <\/span>Unlike worldly occupation, one can neglect his or her responsibility towards God and a period of grace is guaranteed to him or her. <\/span>At the end of this probationary period, called life, accounts are due and payable, and it is certainly not the best time to determine that his account is ‚red numbers‘.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Francis Bacon concludes the subject of this appendix with the wonderful statement: \u201cThose who deny God destroy the nobility of man; <\/span>for surely man is related to animals with his body; <\/span>and if he were not related to God in his spirit, he would be an ordinary and base creature. <\/span>\u201d[2] If a person believes that after a few million years something worthwhile will emerge from the barbecue, from the foam beating of Stanley Miller and Harold Urey’s original bouillabaise, then humanity will be held responsible for what we all have within us feel – our soul or our mind. <\/span>Every single person has one and here is the metaphysical milestone that distinguishes man from animal.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Once again, those who doubt the one that cannot be learned directly could find an excuse for denying the soul, but they will most likely find that they have little company. <\/span>In addition, the discussion then moves in the direction of the nature of truth, knowledge, and evidence, which is the logical stepping stone to the next section, agnosticism. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
