Some of the greatest misunderstandings that many non-Muslims have about Islam revolve around the word \u201cAllah\u201d. <\/span>For various reasons, many people have come to believe that Muslims worship a different God than Jews and Christians. <\/span>This is absolutely wrong because „Allah“ is simply the Arabic word for „God“ – and there is only one God. <\/span>Let us leave no doubt – Muslims serve the God of Noah, Abraham, Moses, David and Jesus – peace be upon them all. <\/span>However, it is certainly true that Jews, Christians and Muslims have different ideas about the Almighty God. <\/span>For example, Muslims – like the Jews – reject Christian belief in the Trinity and divine rebirth. <\/span>However, this does not mean <\/span>that each of these three religions worship a different God – because, as we have already established, there is only one True God. <\/span>Judaism, Christianity and Islam all claim to be \u201creligions of Abraham\u201d and each of them is classified as \u201cmonotheistic\u201d. <\/span>However, Islam emphasizes that other religions have been changed in one way or another and denied the pure and clean belief in the Almighty God by rejecting His true teachings and mixing them with their human-made ideas .<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

First of all, an important remark: \u201cAllah\u201d is the same word that Arabic-speaking Christians and Jews use for God. <\/span>If you pick up an Arabic Bible, you will see that the word „Allah“ is everywhere where „God“ is written in German. <\/span>This is because \u201cAllah\u201d in Arabic is a word that corresponds to the German \u201cGod\u201d. <\/span>However, it refers to the One God, accordingly, from \u201cAllah\u201d one cannot form a plural or female form, all in all it corresponds to the Islamic concept of God.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

It is interesting to note that the Aramaic word \u201cEl\u201d, which is the word for God in the language that Jesus spoke, certainly sounds more like the word \u201cAllah\u201d than the German word \u201cGod\u201d. <\/span>This also applies to the numerous Hebrew words for \u201cGod\u201d, such as \u201cEl\u201d and \u201cElah\u201d, as well as the plural or the form of glorification \u201cElohim\u201d. <\/span>The reason for these similarities is that Aramaic, Hebrew and Arabic are Semitic languages \u200b\u200bof the same origin. <\/span>It should also be noted that when the Bible was translated into English or German, the Hebrew word \u201cEl\u201d was often translated as \u201cGod\u201d but also as \u201cAngel\u201d! <\/span>This inaccurate language allows different translators to translate the word as they see fit based on their preconceived notions. <\/span>The Arabic word „Allah“ does not pose such difficulties or ambiguity because it is used only for the Almighty God alone. <\/span>In addition, there is no discernible difference in German if the word \u201cGod\u201d is used for a false deity, and \u201cGod\u201d if the One, True God is meant. <\/span>Based on these facts, the most accurate translation of the word „Allah“ into German is: „The One and Only God“ or „The One True God“.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Something else important: it should be noted that the Arabic word „Allah“, because of its roots and origins, contains a profound religious message. <\/span>This is because it comes from the Arabic verb ta’allaha (or alaha), which means „to worship“. <\/span>Therefore, the word „Allah“ in Arabic means „The One who is entitled to all worship“. <\/span>In a few words, this corresponds to the pure monotheistic message of Islam.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Suffice it to say that just because someone claims to be a \u201cmonotheistic\u201d Jew, Christian or Muslim does not stop them from falling prey to their adulterated beliefs and idolatrous practices. <\/span>Many people, including some Muslims, claim to believe in the „One God“ even if they have started to practice idolatry. <\/span>Many Protestants certainly accuse the Roman Catholics of their idolatrous adoration of the saints and the Virgin Mary. <\/span>Accordingly, the Greek Orthodox Church is viewed by many other Christians as \u201cidolatrous\u201d because they use icons in their services. <\/span>However, if you ask a Roman Catholic or a Greek Orthodox person whether God is „One“, they will undoubtedly say „Yes!“ <\/span>reply. <\/span>This statement, however, does not prevent them from being „creatures worshiping“ idolaters. <\/span>The same applies to Hindus who regard their gods only as the \u201cappearance\u201d or \u201cembodiment\u201d of the One Most High God.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Before we conclude … there are a few people out there who are obviously not on the truth side, they want to give people the belief that „Allah“ is just some Arabic „God“ [1] and that Islam is something completely „different“ – in other words, that it has no common roots with the other Abrahamic religions (ie Judaism and Christianity). <\/span>To say that Muslims worship another \u201cGod\u201d because they say \u201cAllah\u201d is as illogical as to say that the French worship another God because they say \u201cDieu\u201d; <\/span>the Spaniards worship another god because they say \u201cDios\u201d or that the Hebrews worship another god because they called him \u201cYahweh\u201d. <\/span>It is undoubtedly quite ridiculous to conclude that way! <\/span>It should also be mentioned <\/span><\/span>We would like to ask our readers about the motives of these people?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The reason is that the ultimate truth of Islam is on solid ground and its unwavering belief in the unity of God is untouchable. <\/span>Because of this, Christians cannot directly attack his doctrines, instead they fabricate statements about Islam that are not true, making people lose the desire to learn more. <\/span>If Islam were presented to the world in the right way, it would cause many people to rethink and reconsider their own beliefs. <\/span>If you find out that there is an all-encompassing religion in the world that teaches people to serve and love God while also practicing pure monotheism, then it is very likely that they will ultimately feel<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
