{"id":8404,"date":"2020-06-20T01:30:45","date_gmt":"2020-06-20T06:30:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ask-a-muslim.com\/?p=8404"},"modified":"2020-07-22T10:32:02","modified_gmt":"2020-07-22T15:32:02","slug":"es-gibt-keinen-zwang-im-glauben","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ask-a-muslim.com\/de\/es-gibt-keinen-zwang-im-glauben\/","title":{"rendered":"Es gibt keinen Zwang im Glauben"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Sami al-Majid <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">One of the basic truths that come from the sacred texts is that no one can be compelled to accept Islam. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">It is the duty of Muslims to provide people with evidence of Islam so that they can recognize the truth of being wrong. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">According to this, whoever wants to can accept Islam and whoever wants to continue living in unbelief can do so. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">No one may be threatened or harmed if they do not want to accept Islam. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Among other key evidence in this regard, we find the following. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">God speaks:<\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">\u201cThere is no compulsion in belief. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The right way is now clearly recognizable compared to the wrong one. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Whoever does not believe in the idols, but believes in God, has certainly taken the safest hold, with which there is no tearing. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">And God is All-Hearing, All-Knowing. \u201d <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">(Quran 2: 256) <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">God says: <\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">\u201cAnd if your Lord had wanted it, all who are on earth would have believed. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Do you want to force people to become believers? \u201d <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">(Quran 10:99) <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">God says:<\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">\u201cAnd if they argue with you, say: &#8218;I have completely surrendered to God, and likewise whoever follows me.&#8216; And speak to those to whom the Scriptures have been given and to the uninformed: &#8218;Will you be devoted? \u00b4 And when they surrender (God), they are guided; <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">however, if they turn away, you are only responsible for preaching. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">And God sees through the servants. \u201d <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">(Quran 3:20) <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">God says, <\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">&#8222;The messenger is only responsible for preaching.&#8220; <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">(Quran 5:99) <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">It is important to note that these last two verses were revealed in Medina. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">This is significant because it shows that the rules given here did not refer to the Muslims who had lived in a state of weakness in Mecca.<\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Some people may be surprised that if Islam actually supports such a method, what is it that we hear about jihad? <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">How can we explain the wars that the Prophet, God&#8217;s blessing and peace be upon him, and his companions waged against the idolaters? <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The answer to this is that Islamic law can do jihad for a variety of reasons, but forcing people to accept Islam is simply not one of them. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">As for conversion, it should be done peacefully by spreading the spoken and written message. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">There is no place for weapons to force people to accept Islam. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">In his letter to the Roman ruler Heraclius, the Prophet said:<\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">\u201cI invite you to accept Islam. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">If you accept Islam, you will find security. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">If you accept Islam, God will give you a double reward. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">But if you turn away, you will bear your sin and that of your subordinates. \u201d <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">(Sahieh Al-Bukhari, Sahieh Muslim) <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">As soon as people heard the message without inhibition or obstacle and the evidence was provided, the Muslim did his duty. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Those who want to believe are free to do so, and those who prefer not to believe are also free to do so.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Even if Muslims are forced to fight and then subjugate the country, it is their duty to apply God&#8217;s law in the country and to give their rights to everyone, be they Muslims or non-Muslims. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">It is not their right to force anyone to accept Islam against their will. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Non-Muslims under Muslim rule must be allowed to maintain and exercise their own faith appropriately, but they must be expected to respect the laws of the country. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">If the purpose of jihad was to force unbelievers to accept Islam, would the prophet have commanded Muslims to refrain from hostility if the enemy backed away? <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Would he have banned the killing of women and children? <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">But that&#8217;s exactly what he did.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">During a battle, the Prophet saw a crowd of people. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">He dispatched a man to find out why they had gathered. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The man returned and said, &#8222;You have gathered around a slain woman.&#8220; Then the Messenger of God said: <\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">&#8222;You should not have been attacked!&#8220; <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Khalid b. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">al-Walid led the forces, so he sent a man to him and said, &#8222;Tell Khalid no women and no workers should be killed.&#8220; (Sunan Abi Dawud) <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">For this reason, the only people who are in the midst of the heat a battle against an enemy opponent may only be attacked, only those who are actually involved in the fighting.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">If it had been the purpose of jihad to force the unbelievers to adopt Islam, the right-wing Khalifas would not have prohibited the killing of priests and monks who refrained from fighting. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">But that&#8217;s exactly what they did. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">When the first Khalif Abu Bakr sent an army to Syria to fight aggressive Roman legions, he went out to encourage them. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">He said: \u201cYou will find a group of people dedicated to worship (ie monks); <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">let them do that. &#8222;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Source: https:\/\/www.islamland.com\/deu\/articles\/es-gibt-keinen-zwang-im-glauben<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sami al-Majid One of the basic truths that come from the sacred texts is that no one can be compelled to accept Islam.
