{"id":8440,"date":"2020-06-20T01:44:35","date_gmt":"2020-06-20T06:44:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ask-a-muslim.com\/?p=8440"},"modified":"2020-07-19T06:25:01","modified_gmt":"2020-07-19T11:25:01","slug":"glaube-an-die-engel","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ask-a-muslim.com\/de\/glaube-an-die-engel\/","title":{"rendered":"Glaube an die Engel"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Reality of the Angels <\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">In ordinary peoples, the angels are regarded as good forces of nature, as a luminous appearance or illusion. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">On western icons, the angels are sometimes depicted as fat, chubby babies or as handsome young men or women with a glow around their heads. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">According to the Islamic teaching, these are actually created beings who may also suffer death and who are normally hidden from our senses.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">They are neither divine nor semi-divine, nor are they God&#8217;s partners who care for different parts of the universe. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Accordingly, one must not serve them and also not worship them. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Nor are they \u201cmediators\u201d between people and Allah and do not convey our prayers to God. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">They are all subject to God and carry out His orders. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">From an Islamic perspective, there are no fallen angels: they are not divided into \u201cgood\u201d and \u201cbad\u201d angels. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">People do not become angels after death. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Satan is not a fallen angel, but one of the Ginn, creatures that God created in parallel with people and angels.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The angels were created from light before human beings were created, and their representation or representation in Islamic art is very rare. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Nevertheless, according to the Islamic scriptures, they are generally beautiful beings with wings. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Angels of different cosmic hierarchies and with different tasks differ in size, position and merit. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The greatest of them is Gabriel. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The Prophet of Islam saw him in his actual form. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The bearers of God&#8217;s throne are also among the greatest angels. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">They love believers and ask God for forgiveness for their sins. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">They carry God&#8217;s throne, and the Prophet Muhammad spoke about them, may God praise him and give him peace:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">\u201cI have been given permission to speak of one of God&#8217;s angels who hold the throne. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The distance between his earlobes and his shoulders is a journey of seven hundred years. \u201d <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">(Abu Dawud) <\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">You don&#8217;t eat or drink. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The angels do not get bored and they do not tire of serving God: <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">\u201cThey praise (Him) night and day and do not abate.\u201d <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">(Quran 21:20) <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>\n<span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The number of angels <\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">How many angels are there? <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Only God knows. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The Frequently Visited House is a venerable, heavenly sanctuary above the Kaaba, the black, cube-like building in the city of Mecca. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Seventy thousand angels come to visit it daily and leave without ever returning, followed by another group. [1] <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h4>\n<span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The names of the angels<\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Muslims believe in certain angels mentioned in Islamic sources such as \u011eibriel (Gabriel), Mika&#8217;iel (Michael), Israfiel, Malik &#8211; the guardian of hellfire and others. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Of these, only \u011eibriel and Mika&#8217;iel were mentioned in the Bible. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>\n<span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Angelic Abilities <\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The angels have great powers that God has given them. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">They can take different forms. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The scriptures of the Muslims describe how God sent Gabriel in the form of a man to Mary at the moment of Jesus&#8216; conception: <\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">\u201cWe sent Our Angels to her. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">He presented himself to her as a well-formed human being. \u201d <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">(Quran 19:17)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Abraham was also visited by angels in human form. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Similarly, angels in the form of handsome young men came to Lot to save him from danger. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Gabriel used to visit the Prophet Muhammad in different forms. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Sometimes he appeared in the shape of one of his followers and sometimes in the shape of a Bedouin from the desert. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">So angels have the ability to take human form in some circumstances, including ordinary people. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Gabriel is God&#8217;s heavenly emissary to people. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">He brought the divine revelation to His human messengers. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">God says: <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">\u201cSay: Whoever is an enemy of Gabriel, he has revealed it (the Quran) to your heart with Allah&#8217;s permission &#8230;\u201d (Quran 2:97) <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>\n<span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The angels&#8216; duties<\/span><\/span><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Some of the angels are responsible for executing God&#8217;s rules in the world. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Michael is responsible for the rain, he directs it to wherever God wishes. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">He has helpers who support him in this on the instructions of his master; <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">they control the winds and the clouds as God wills. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Another is charged with blowing the horn; <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">his name is Israafiel and he will blow it at the beginning of the day of judgment. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Still others take the souls of the dying out of their bodies in the hour of death: these are the angel of death and his helpers. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">God says: <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">&#8222;Say: The angel of death who is entrusted to you will be called off, and you will then be brought back to your Lord.&#8220; <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">(Quran 32:11)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Then there are the guardian angels who are responsible for protecting every believer throughout their life, be it at home or on the road, while sleeping or awake. <\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Others are responsible for reporting on people&#8217;s deeds, good and bad. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">These are known as the &#8222;Honorable Writers&#8220;. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Two angels, Munkar and Nakier, are tasked with questioning the people in their graves. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The keepers of paradise and the nineteen \u201cguards\u201d of hellfire, whose leader is \u00b4Malik\u00b4, are also angels. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">There are also angels who are responsible for breathing the soul into the fetus and writing down his care, lifespan, deeds and whether he will be unhappy or happy.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Some angels travel around the world to attend meetings where God is thought. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">There are also angels who represent God&#8217;s heavenly army, they stand in rows, never get tired or sit down. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">And still others bow or prostrate and never raise their heads, they always worship God. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">As we learn from the above, the angels represent an excellent creation of God, different in number, roles and abilities. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">God does not need these creatures, but knowing and believing in them increases our awe that we feel towards God and the belief that He is able to create everything He wants: for the splendor of His Creation is a testament to the magnificence of the Creator. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Footnotes: <\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">[1] Sahih Al-Bukhari.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Source: https:\/\/www.islamland.com\/deu\/articles\/glaube-an-die-engel<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Reality of the Angels In ordinary peoples, the angels are regarded as good forces of nature, as a luminous appearance or illusion.
