The reality of paradise is something that people cannot understand before actually entering it, but God has given us glimpses of it in the Quran. <\/span>He describes it as a place that differs fundamentally from life in this world, both in the nature and meaning of life, and in the joys that people expect there. <\/span>The Quran tells people about the paradise that God offers them, describes his great blessing and announces his beauties to everyone. <\/span>He informs people that paradise is one of the two life forms that are prepared for them in the hereafter and that all good things in paradise are for them to an extent beyond our imagination. <\/span>He shows us paradise as a place <\/span>where all the blessings are perfectly created and where everything is offered to people that their souls and hearts desire and that people will be far from want and need, fear or sadness, grief and remorse. <\/span>Beauty and blessings of all kinds exist in paradise, and they will be endowed with a perfection never seen or known. <\/span>God created the blessing there as a gift and He will only offer this to those who please Him. <\/span>and they will have perfection never seen or known. <\/span>God created the blessing there as a gift and He will only offer this to those who please Him. <\/span>and they will have perfection never seen or known. <\/span>God created the blessing there as a gift and He will only offer this to those who please Him.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

But what kind are these delights in paradise and how do they differ from the delights of this world? <\/span>We will try to highlight some of these differences. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Pure joy without pain and suffering<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

If people in this world experience some joy, they still have to struggle and suffer from grief and worry. <\/span>If someone took a closer look at the life we \u200b\u200blive here, he would find that the sum of the hardships we experience in life is far greater than the sum of comfort and convenience. <\/span>As for life in the hereafter, there will be no hardness or suffering in it, and people will then only experience pure joy and enjoyment. <\/span>All the causes of grief, pain and suffering that people experience in this world no longer exist in the hereafter. <\/span>Let’s look at a couple of reasons for this. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

wealth<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

If you think of the success in this life, you conjure up the image of large houses, fine jewels and clothes, as well as expensive cars; <\/span>Financial security is seen as the key to a happy life. <\/span>For most people, success is inextricably linked to wealth, although this is the most distant from the truth. <\/span>How often do you see the richest people lead so miserable lives that it sometimes even leads them to commit suicide! <\/span>Wealth is something that people desire in their own way at all costs, and this desire has been created for a great and wise sense. <\/span>If this desire is not satisfied, it causes grief in a person to some extent. <\/span>For this reason, God has promised the inhabitants of paradise that they will have everything <\/span>what they can think of in terms of wealth and belongings, both the extremely poor who suffered hunger and thirst and the wealthy who wanted more. <\/span>God gives us insight when He says:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

„… it contains what the souls desire and is delicious for the eyes …“ (Quran 43:71) <\/span><\/span>
\n„Eat and drink easily for what you have done in the past few days (with good deeds).“ <\/span>(Quran 69:24) <\/span><\/span>
\n\u201c… they are adorned with gold bangles, and they wear green silk brocade and heavy brocade garments by leaning on covered loungers. <\/span>How awesome is the reward and how nice is the rest area! \u201d <\/span>(Quran 18:31) <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Illness and Death <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Another cause of pain and suffering in this life is the death of a loved one or illness, neither of which exists in paradise. <\/span>Nobody will feel any nausea or pain in paradise. <\/span>The Prophet Muhammad, may God praise him, said about the inhabitants of paradise:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

„You will never get sick, snort or spit your nose.“ <\/span>(Sahieh Al-Bukhari) <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Nobody will die in paradise. <\/span>Everyone should live forever and enjoy the pleasures in it. <\/span>The Prophet Muhammad said that when people enter Paradise, a caller will announce: <\/span><\/span>
\n\u201cTruly you may be well and never get sick again; <\/span>you may live and never die again; <\/span>you may be young and you will never grow old; <\/span>you may enjoy and never feel sorrow and remorse again. \u201d <\/span>(Sahieh Muslim) <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Social Connections <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

As for remorse due to a split in personal relationships, people will never hear anything bad or hurtful comments or talk in paradise. <\/span>You will only hear good words and words of peace. <\/span>God says in the Quran:<\/span><\/span>
\n\u201cYou will not hear empty talk or accusations of sin there, only the word: ‚Peace! <\/span>Peace! ‚\u201d(Quran 56: 25-26) <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

There will be no enmity or bad feelings among people: <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c And we want to clear away whatever resentment in their hearts (from their lives in this world). <\/span>\u2026 \u201d(Quran 7:43) <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Prophet said, <\/span><\/span>
\n\u201c There will be no hatred or disgust among them, their hearts will be like one, and they will praise God morning and evening. \u201d <\/span>(Sahieh Al-Bukhari) In <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

the hereafter, people will have the best companions who were the best companions in this world:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

„And whoever obeys God and the Messenger shall be among those whom God gives His grace, among the prophets, the truthful, the witnesses and the righteous – what good companions!“ <\/span>(Quran 4:69) <\/span><\/span>
\nThe hearts of the inhabitants of paradise will be pure, their language will be good, their deeds righteous. <\/span>There will be no hurtful, upset, attacking or provocative talk there, because paradise is free from all senseless talk and senseless deeds. <\/span>If we discussed all the reasons for anger in this life, we will surely find their absence or the opposite in the hereafter. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

(part 2 of 2) <\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n

The eternity of the hereafter<\/span><\/span>
\nThe joys of this world are fleeting, while the joys of the hereafter are constant and eternal. <\/span>When someone is enjoying something in this world, it only takes a short while to get bored with it and look around for something else that they like better or they just think they don’t need it anymore. <\/span>As for the joys of paradise, you will never get bored of anything, more, you will find it more and more enjoyable the more you do it. <\/span><\/span>
\nLife in this world is also very short. <\/span>People live on this earth for a short time, and only a few of them reach the age of seventy. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c\u2026 Say: ‚The world is of little use, and the hereafter will be better for those who fear God ….’\u201d (Quran 4:77)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In contrast, people will live forever in paradise. <\/span>God says: <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

„… its fruits and its shadows are everlasting …“ (Quran 13:35) <\/span><\/span>
\n„What is with you passes, and what is with Allah remains …“ (Quran 16:96) <\/span><\/span>
\n„Verily, this is Our supply, it will never be exhausted. \u201d <\/span>(Quran 38:54) <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Unimaginable Delights <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The joys of the people of Paradise, such as their clothes, food, drinks, jewelry, and palaces, will be far superior to their counterparts in this world. <\/span>In fact, you cannot compare these things, because even the smallest place in paradise is far better than this world and everything in it. <\/span>The Prophet Muhammad (may God praise him) said:<\/span><\/span>
\n„The place of the bow of each one of you in paradise is better than anything the sun rises over.“ <\/span>(Mischkaat al-Masaabieh 3\/85, No. 5615) <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Free from all impurities <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Paradise is free from all impurities in the world. <\/span>If we eat and drink in this life, it results in the need for excretion and the associated unpleasant smells. <\/span>When someone drinks wine in this world, he loses consciousness. <\/span>Men and women give birth in this world, all of which are sources of pain and suffering. <\/span>Paradise is free from these inconveniences: its residents will not urinate, have bowel movements, spit or catch a cold. <\/span>The wine of paradise is described by its creator as follows:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201c(It is) white and tasty for the drinkers. <\/span>It will not create a frenzy, nor will they get tired of it. \u201d <\/span>(Quran 37: 46-47) <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The water of paradise does not go bad, and its milk never changes its taste. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

„… There are streams of water that does not become putrid and streams of milk whose taste does not change …“ (Quran 47:15) <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The women of paradise are pure and free from menstruation, bleeding after childbirth and all other impurities that women in this world suffer from, and all are free from urine and bowel movements. <\/span>God says, <\/span><\/span>
\n„… and they have wives of perfect purity in them …“ (Quran 2:25) <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

When asked how the people of Paradise find relief, the Prophet replied:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

„They get relief by exhaling through their skin, and their scent will be that of misk, and all stomachs will bow.“ <\/span>(Ibn Hibbaan) <\/span><\/span>
\nWhat we mentioned is just a comparison to get an idea of \u200b\u200bthe uniqueness of paradise, but as God says, his real joys are hidden. <\/span><\/span>
\n„But nobody knows which feast for the eyes is hidden as a reward for their actions.“ <\/span>(Quran 32:17) <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Paradise: There is nothing like it<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The joys of paradise are beyond imagination and defy description. <\/span>They do not correspond to anything that people in this world know; <\/span>no matter how advanced we get; <\/span>what we achieve is nothing compared to the joys of the hereafter. <\/span>As is reported in various traditions, there is nothing like paradise: <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt is sparkling light, its aromatic plants, a towering palace, a flowing stream, ripe fruit, a beautiful woman and plenty of clothing, in the eternal place of radiant joy, in beautiful, flawlessly built tall houses. \u201d <\/span>(Ibn Maajah, Ibn Hibbaan) <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Sahabah (companions of the Prophet) asked the Prophet about the buildings of Paradise and he replied with a wonderful description:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cBricks made of gold and silver, and mortar made of fragrant misk, stones of pearls and sapphires, and earth of saffron. <\/span>Those who enter are filled with joy and never feel bad again; <\/span>he will live there forever and never die; <\/span>their clothes will never be worn down and their youth will never pass away. \u201d <\/span>(Ahmad, at-Tirmidhi, ad-Daarimie) <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

God says: <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAnd wherever you look there (in paradise), you will see an (unimaginable) well-being and a great kingdom. <\/span>\u201d(Quran 76:20) <\/span><\/span>
\nWhat God has kept from us from the joys of paradise is beyond our imagination. <\/span>The Prophet said that God said:<\/span><\/span>
\n„I have prepared for My servants what no eye has ever seen, no ear has ever heard and no human heart can imagine.“ <\/span>Recite if you want: <\/span><\/span>
\n\u201cBut nobody knows which feast for the eyes is hidden for them as a reward for their actions. <\/span>\u201d(Quran 32:17) <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In another tradition: <\/span><\/span>
\n\u201c Do not care what God has told you; <\/span>what He has not enlightened you about is even greater. \u201d <\/span>(Saheeh Muslim) <\/span><\/span>
\nIn other articles, we will try to mention some of the specific details of paradise and the joys described by God and His last prophet.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
