The Da Vinci Codex controversy – is everywhere! <\/span>Dan Brown’s book claims that Jesus is not divine or God, and that the Gospels have changed, as we all know, and after Jesus‘ stay here on earth, people would have elevated him to the same level as God. <\/span>Could that be true?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Age-old secrets of the church, hidden for centuries, were actually revealed and published in books before Brown wrote his fictions in „Da Vinci Codex“. <\/span>Baigent and Leigh have authored other books from the scientific perspective of the past two decades, including: \u201cDead Sea Scrolls Deception\u201d, \u201cHoly Blood, Holy Grail\u201d and \u201cMessianic Legacy\u201d (the legacy of the Messiah). <\/span>These books contain the testimony of religious communities, and when they came out in the early nineties they certainly fueled discussions about who exactly this man – Jesus – was, what his message was, and what happened to him.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Islam claims to have „broken the Codex“ more than 1,400 years ago. <\/span>The answer, according to Muslim scholars, was in the Quran 1,400 years ago. <\/span><\/span>
\nSome will be amazed to learn that Muslims believe in the wonderful birth of Jesus and other miracles associated with him. <\/span>They also consider him the „Messiah“ and they even say „Peace be with him“. <\/span>However, they quickly deny any additional connection between God and Jesus, such as a partnership or the divine nature of Jesus, and they completely exclude the idea that God has a son (or daughter).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Here now follows how Muslim scholars present their understanding and the „breach of the Codex“.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Muslim Scholars and the „Breach of the Codex“<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Creation itself tells us that there must be a Creator and that Allah has always been to worship (in Arabic the One God) alone. <\/span>This is the clear teaching throughout the Old Testament (Torah), the scriptures that Jesus himself confirmed as the revelation of God. <\/span>God is not one of three; <\/span>for example: „So that you know that the Lord is God and no one else.“ <\/span>(5 Moses 4:35). <\/span>The same is mentioned in the Gospel of Mark in the New Testament, in chapter 12, verse 29, when Jesus, peace be upon him, was asked about the greatest commandment and answered. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cListen, Israel, the Lord, our God is the Lord alone; <\/span>and you shall love God your Lord with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind and with all your strength. \u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

According to the oldest and most credible copies of manuscripts and scrolls that have survived the centuries, Jesus claimed that peace be with him, never to be God or the creator or adoring one, nor did he command his followers to worship him. <\/span>These ideas appeared on the lips of others who only appeared decades and even centuries later. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

When Jesus was still on earth, he never claimed to be the creator or asked us to worship him as God. <\/span>His wonderful birth is a sign of his prophecy. <\/span><\/span>
\n\u201cCertainly, the parable of Jesus is with God like the parable of Adam. <\/span>He created it out of earth. <\/span>Then He said to him: „Be!“ <\/span>and there he was. \u201d <\/span>(Quran 3:59)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Like all the great and noble prophets of God, such as Adam, Abraham, Moses, Isaac and David, Jesus came with a message: Serve, love, obey and submit to God, the Creator of everything, and do not worship anything except Him. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Throughout history, people have been looking for things or people that they have worshiped alongside God, or just something else like power, money, or position. <\/span>Even the names of religions seem to have more to do with creation and less or nothing to do with the creator. <\/span>For example: Buddhism – Buddha (the name of a man), Confucianism – Confucius (the name of a man), Hinduism – Hind (the name of a region), Judaism – Judah (the name of a tribe) and Christianity – Christ (the name of a great prophets).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Islam is different. <\/span>Islam is a word derived from the verb aslama and means „devotion“, „submission“, „obedience“, „sincerity“ and „peace“ between one and God Almighty and not to any person or anything else created. <\/span>Everyone who practices Islam is devoted to God and worships God alone without putting any partners at His side. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Quran says: <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cGod said: … He is only one God. <\/span>You should be in awe of Me (alone). <\/span>He owns everything that is in the heavens and on earth, and His is always obedience. <\/span>Do you want to fear someone other than God? <\/span>\u201d(Quran 16: 51-52)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Isn’t it time to join Jesus the Son of Mary with all the other prophets and „surrender to the will of God“ (Islam)? <\/span><\/span>
\nOr simply: \u201cserve the Creator – and not His creatures!\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
