{"id":8491,"date":"2020-06-20T01:51:25","date_gmt":"2020-06-20T06:51:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ask-a-muslim.com\/?p=8491"},"modified":"2020-07-09T11:27:40","modified_gmt":"2020-07-09T16:27:40","slug":"die-prophezeiungen-von-muhammad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ask-a-muslim.com\/de\/die-prophezeiungen-von-muhammad\/","title":{"rendered":"Die Prophezeiungen von Muhammad"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">One way a person proves their prophecy is honesty, whether it is from past, present, or future events. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">In addition to the Quran, there are numerous sayings from the life of Prophet Muhammad that contain prophecies that deal with the near and distant future. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Some of them have already come true, others are still waiting to be fulfilled. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Hudhaifah, a companion of the Prophet Muhammad, tells us:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">\u201cThe Prophet made a speech in which he mentioned everything that will come until the last hour without missing anything. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Some of us remembered it and some forgot it. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">After this speech, I used to see events that were mentioned in the speech, but I had forgotten them before they occurred. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Then I saw events like a man recognizing someone who was gone and then he sees and recognizes him. \u201d <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">(Sahieh Al-Bukhari) <\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">There are at least 160 known and confirmed prophecies of the Prophet Muhammad, which were fulfilled during his lifetime and in the first generation after him. [1] <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">We&#8217;ll mention a few of them here.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">(1) Before the Battle of Badr, the first and decisive confrontation with the pagan Meccans in the second year after the emigration from Mecca 623 AD, the Prophet Muhammad predicted the exact place where each of the Meccan idolaters would find death. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Those who witnessed the battle saw with their own eyes how the prophecy came true. [2] <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">(2) Prophet Muhammad prophesied that the Battle of the Allies (al-Ahzab) would be the last invasion by the Quraish tribe (the Meccan idolaters) who would wage them against the Muslims. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">It took place in the fifth year of emigration &#8211; 626 AD. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">&#8211; and was the last military conflict between the two sides. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">All Meccans adopted Islam after a few years. [3]<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">(3) The Prophet informed his daughter Fatima that she was the first member of his family to die after him. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">These are two prophecies in one: Fatima will survive her father and she will be the first of his household to die after him. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Both have been fulfilled. [4] <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">(4) The prophet Muhammad predicted that Jerusalem would be conquered after his death. [5] <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The prophecy came true when, according to the Encyclopedia Britannica: &#8222;In 638 the Muslim Khalif \u00b4Umar I entered Jerusalem.&#8220; [6] <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">(5) The Prophet Muhammad prophesied the conquest of Persia. [7] <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">It was conquered by Umar&#8217;s commander Sa&#8217;ad bin Abi Waqqas. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">In the Encyclopedia Britannica we read:<\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">\u201c\u2026 Raids on the Sasan region were soon undertaken by Muhammad&#8217;s Khalifas or deputies in Medina &#8211; Abu Bakr and \u00b4Umar ibn al-Khattaab -\u2026. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">A victory for the Arabs at At-Qadisiyyah in 636\/637 was followed by the sacking of Sasanian winter supplies at Ctesiphon on the Tigris. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The Battle of Nahavand in 642 completed the conquest of Sasanid. \u201d[8] <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">(6) The Prophet Muhammad prophesied the conquest of Egypt. [9] <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">In the words of the Encyclopedia Britannica:<\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">\u201cAmr\u2026 invaded 639 with a small army of around 4,000 men (which was later reinforced). <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The Byzantine forces were put to flight at an astonishing speed and withdrew from Egypt in 642. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Different explanations have been given for the speed of conquest. \u201d[10] <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">(7) The Prophet predicted the confrontation with the Turks. [11] <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The first conflict arose under \u00b4Umars Khalifat 22 AH. [12] <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">(8) The Prophet predicted that Umm Haram, the first woman to take part in a naval expedition, would witness the first naval battle that Muslims would undertake. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">He also predicted the first attack on Constantinople. [13]<\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The first naval battle in Muslim history took place in 28 AH under the rule of Mu&#8217;awiya. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">It was testified by Umm Haram, as the Prophet Muhammad had predicted, and Yazid ibn Mu&#8217;awiya led 52 AH the first attack on Constantinople. [14] <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">(9) The prophecy that Rome, Persia, and Yemen would be conquered was made during the Battle of the Allies in 626 AD. [15] <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">made under extreme circumstances, as we are described in the Quran:<\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">\u201cWhen they came over you from above and below, and when your eyes rolled and your hearts rose in your throat and you had different thoughts about God: then the believers were tested and they were shaken violently. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">And then the hypocrites and those in whose heart was sickness said, &#8222;God and His Messenger only promised us deceit.&#8220; \u201d(Quran 33: 10-12) <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">(10) The Prophet Muhammad prophesied an impostor who claimed in the name Speaking of God would die in the hands of a righteous man in Muhammad&#8217;s lifetime. [16] <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Al-Aswad al-Ansi, a deceiver in Yemen who claimed to be a prophet, was killed by Fayruz al-Daylami during the lifetime of the prophet.
