[1] <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The first two prophecies are remarkable; <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">unlike any other world script, the Quran describes its own preservation under divine care and we will show how this actually takes place.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3>\n<span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The protection of the Quran from distortion:<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Like no other religious text, the Quran makes a claim that God Himself will protect his text from changes. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">God says: <\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">&#8222;Truly, We ourselves have sent down this admonition, and surely We will be her keeper.&#8220; <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">(Quran 15: 9) <\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The Ease of Memorizing the Quran <\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">God made the Quran easy to memorize :. <\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">\u201cAnd truly, we made the Quran easy to memorize. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">So is there someone who likes to learn? \u201d <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">(Quran 54:17)<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The ease with which the Quran can be memorized is inimitable. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Not a single script or religious text in this world is so easy to memorize; <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">even non-Arabs and children find it easy. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Every Islamic scholar and hundreds of thousands of ordinary Muslims have memorized the entire Quran, generation after generation. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Almost every Muslim knows part of the Quran by heart to recite in his prayers. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3>\n<span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The two-part prophecy:<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Before the rise of Islam, the Romans and the Persians were two competing great powers. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The Romans were led by Heraklios (610-641 AD), a Christian conqueror, while the Zoroastrian Persians were led by Khosrow Parviz (ruled from 590-628 AD), under which the empire experienced its greatest expansion. <\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">In 614 the Persians conquered Syria and Palestine, took Jerusalem, destroyed the Holy Sepulcher and brought the \u00b4Real Cross\u00b4 to Ctesiphon. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Then, in 619, they occupied Egypt and Libya. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Heraclius met them at Thracian Heraclea (617 or 619), but they tried to catch him and he rode madly back to Constantinople, with hot pursuit. [2]<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The Muslims were saddened by the defeat of the Romans, whom they felt spiritually closer to than the Zoroastrian Persians, but the Meccans were, of course, pleased with the victory of the Persian idolaters. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">For the Meccans, the humiliation of the Romans was an ominous omen for the defeat of the Muslims by the hands of the idolaters. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">At that time, God&#8217;s prophecy comforted believers: <\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">\u201cThe Byzantines are defeated in the nearby country, but after their defeat they will win in a few years &#8211; God&#8217;s rule is before and after &#8211; and on that day the believers will be happy about God&#8217;s help. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">He helps who He wants; <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">and He is Almighty, Most Merciful. \u201d <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">(Quran 30: 2-4) <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3>\n<span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The Quran predicted two victories:<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">(i) The future victory of the Romans over the Persians in ten years, something unimaginable at the time. <\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">(ii) The joy of the believers in defeating the idolaters. <\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Both prophecies have actually come true.<\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">In 622 Heraklios left Constantinople and prayers rose from his many sanctuaries for a victory over the Zoroastrian Persians and for the reconquest of Jerusalem. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">He devoted the following two years to campaigns in Armenia. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">In 627 he met Persians near Nineveh. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">There he killed three Persian generals in a single fight, killed a Persian commander, and dispersed the Persian army. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">A month later, Heraklios entered Dastagird with his overwhelming treasure. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Khosrow was overwhelmed by his son, who made peace with Heraklios. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">When he returned to Constantinople, Heraclius was celebrated like a hero. [3] <\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Also in 624 AD <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">the Muslims defeated the Meccans in their first and decisive battle of Badr. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>\n<span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">In the words of an Indian scholar:<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">\u201c&#8230; a single line of prophecies was made to four nations and the fate of two great empires. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">All of this proves that the Holy Quran is the Book of God. \u201d[4] <\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The Prophecy of the Defeat of the Idolaters <\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The Quran predicted the defeat of the unbelievers in Mecca when the Prophet Muhammad and his followers were still persecuting them were. <\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">\u201cOr do they say (the Meccan unbelievers):&#8220; We are all a victorious group &#8222;? <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The flocks will all be defeated and they will be put to flight. \u201d <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">(Quran 54:45) <\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">This prophecy was revealed in Mecca, but was fulfilled at the Battle of Badr, two years after the Prophet&#8217;s emigration to the city of Medina. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>\n<span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The fate of certain people<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Walied bin Mughiera was a bitter enemy who publicly made fun of the Quran: <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">&#8222;Then he said:&#8220; This is nothing but magic that is passed on. It is just a human word! &#8220; <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">(Quran 74: 24-25) <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The Quran predicts that he will never adopt Islam: <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">&#8222;Soon I will let it burn in hellfire. And how do you know what hellfire is? It spares nothing and leaves nothing left.&#8220; <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">(Quran 74: 26-28) <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Walied died incredulously, as predicted in <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">the Quran, and also regarding Abu Lahab, a fiery opponent of Islam, the Quran prophesied that he would die as an opponent of God&#8217;s religion :.<\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">\u201cThe hands of Abu Lahab should be based! <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">And (he too) should perish! <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Nothing should benefit his fortune, nor what he has acquired; <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">it will burn in a blazing sea. \u201d <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">(Quran 111: 1-3) <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Three prophecies were made about Abu Lahab:. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">(i) Abu Lahab&#8217;s conspiracies against the Prophet will not succeed. <\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">(ii) His wealth and children will not benefit him. <\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">(iii) He will die as an opponent of God&#8217;s religion and come into the fire. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Abu Lahab also died, as predicted, as an unbeliever. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">If Walied or Abu Lahab had accepted Islam, even if it had only been external, they would have refuted the prophecies and thus also their divine source!<\/span><\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Abu Lahab also had four sons, two of whom died young when he was alive. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">The other two and a daughter adopted Islam and thereby destroyed their hopes! <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Finally he died of a plague; <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">people did not touch his body for fear of becoming infected and poured mud and stones on him where he died to bury him. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">A basis for believing that Scripture is indeed the revelation of God is its inner truth, be it in the past, in the future, or in the present. <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">As you can see, there are many prophecies about what is yet to come; <\/span><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">some things that were already fulfilled during the Prophet&#8217;s lifetime or that were fulfilled after his death while others are still expected. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\"><span style=\"vertical-align: inherit;\">Footnotes:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>[1] Mehr Prophezeiungen aus dem Qur\u00b4an siehe in: \u2018Mercy For the Worlds,\u2019 by Qazi Suliman Mansoorpuri, Bd.3, S. 248 &#8211; 313.<br \/>\n[2] \u201cHeraclius.\u201d Encyclop\u00e6dia Britannica from Encyclop\u00e6dia Britannica Premium Service.<br \/>\n(http:\/\/www.britannica.com\/eb\/article?tocId=9040092)<br \/>\n[3] \u201cHeraclius.\u201d Encyclop\u00e6dia Britannica from Encyclop\u00e6dia Britannica Premium Service.<br \/>\n(http:\/\/www.britannica.com\/eb\/article?tocId=9040092)<br \/>\n[4] \u2018Mercy For the Worlds,\u2019 von Qazi Suliman Mansoorpuri, Bd.3, S. 312.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>Source: https:\/\/www.islamland.com\/deu\/articles\/die-prophezeiungen-des-quran<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Quran contains numerous prophecies that have been fulfilled, but we will limit ourselves to only five in this discussion.
