Humanity has received divine guidance only in two ways: first through the Word of God, second through the prophets chosen by God to communicate His will to people. <\/span>These two things always belonged together, and attempts to know God’s will by denying one or the other of these two have always been misleading. <\/span>The Hindus deny their prophets and only pay attention to their books, which, however, only prove to be puns that they eventually lost. <\/span>Similarly, in total disregard for the book of God, Christians have given all importance to Christ, not only raising him to a divine status, but also losing the essence of tauhid (monotheism) contained in the Bible.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In fact, the main scriptures that had been revealed before the Quran, that is, the Old Testament and the Gospel, were written long after the days of their prophets, and even translated. <\/span>This was because the followers of Moses and Jesus made no special efforts to preserve these revelations while their prophets were alive. <\/span>They were written down long after their death. <\/span>So what we have today in the form of the Bible (both the Old and New Testaments) is a translation of individual accounts of the original revelations that contain additions and omissions, made by the followers of the said prophets. <\/span>In contrast, the last book of revelation, the Quran, is still preserved in its original form.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In addition, over 100,000 companions had either memorized all or part of the Quran. <\/span>The prophet himself used to tell him to the angel Gabriel once a year and twice the year he died. <\/span>The first Khalif Abu Bakr entrusted the collection of the entire Quran in a volume to Zaid Ibn Thabit, the writer of the Prophet. <\/span>This volume was with Abu Bakr until his death. <\/span>Then it was with the second Khalifa, Umar, and after him came Hafsa, the Prophet’s wife. <\/span>The third Khalif Uthman had several other copies of this copy of the original made and sent them to the various Muslim territories.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Quran has been preserved so carefully because it is the book of guidance until the end of time. <\/span>For this reason, he does not only address the Arabs in whose language he was revealed. <\/span>He speaks to all people.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

„O people, what has deceived you about your Lord, the Most Generous?“ <\/span><\/span>
\nThe applicability of the teachings of the Quran was shown to us by the example of the Prophet Muhammad and the good Muslims at all times. <\/span>The special approach of the Quran is that its instructions serve the general good of man and are based on the achievable possibilities. <\/span>The wisdom of the Quran is convincing in all its dimensions. <\/span>It does not condemn and torture the flesh, but it also does not deny the soul. <\/span>He does not humanize God, but neither does he deify man. <\/span>Everything is carefully placed where it belongs.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In fact, the scientists who assume that Muhammad is the author of the Quran claim something that is humanly impossible. <\/span>Could anyone in the sixth century AD <\/span>express such scientific truths as the Quran contains? <\/span>Could he have described the development of an embryo in the uterus as precisely as we find it in modern science?<\/span><\/span>
\nSecondly, it is logical to believe that Muhammad, who had only distinguished himself for his honesty and integrity up to the age of forty, suddenly began to write a book that was unsurpassed in its literary value, something even the whole thing could not do Legion of Arab poets and speakers with the highest level? <\/span>And is it ultimately logical that Muhammad, who was known in his society as Al-Amien (the Trustworthy One) and who is still admired by non-Muslim scholars for his honesty and integrity, came up with a false claim and thus in was able to raise thousands of men who were men of integrity to form the best community on earth?<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Certainly, every sincere and impartial seeker of truth will believe that the Quran is God’s revealed book. <\/span><\/span>
\nWithout necessarily agreeing with everything they said, here are some of the opinions of important non-Muslim scholars about the Quran. <\/span>The reader can easily see how the modern world is approaching the reality of the Quran. <\/span>We appeal to all open-minded scientists to study the Quran considering the above points. <\/span>We are sure that such an attempt will convince the reader that the Quran can never have been written by a human being.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Goethe, quoted in TP Hughes‘ Dictionary of Islam, p. 526: <\/span><\/span>
\n\u201cBut often we turn to him [the Quran] again, at first he disgusts us anew, soon he attracts us, amazed and finally he enchants us Awe … His style is consistent with its content and purpose, is austere, great, terrible – truly sublime now and then – this book will continue to exert the greatest possible influence at all times. \u201d <\/span><\/span>
\nMaurice Bucaille, The Quran and Modern Science, 19812, p. 18:<\/span><\/span>
\n\u201cA completely objective examination [of the Quran] in the light of modern science means that we can see the agreement between the two, as has been said on repeated occasions. <\/span>It makes us think that it is unthinkable that a man from Muhammad’s time was the author of such statements based on the knowledge of his time. <\/span>Such considerations are part of what gives the revelation of the Quran its unique place and forces the impartial scientist to admit his inability to make a statement based solely on materialistic reasoning. \u201d <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n\u201cA work that evokes such powerful and seemingly incomparable feelings even for the most distant reader – distant in terms of time, and even more as a spiritual development – a work that not only conquers the aversion with which he may initially start reading, but it does it changes this negative feeling to amazement and admiration, such a work must be a wonderful manufacture of the human mind, and a problem of the highest interest for every careful observer of the fate of humanity. \u201d <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Maurice Bucaille, The Bible, the Quran and Science, 1978, p. 125:<\/span><\/span>
\n\u201cThe above observation makes the hypothesis put forward by those who see the author of the Quran as Muhammad. <\/span>How could a man from illiterate to become the most important literary skill writer in all of Arabic literature? <\/span>How could he utter truths of a scientific nature that no other human being could have developed at that time, and all without making the slightest mistake in this statement? \u201d <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n\u201cTherefore, his merits as a literary work here should perhaps not be measured by some preconceived maxims of subjective and aesthetic taste, but by the effects that he had on Muhammad’s contemporaries and compatriots. <\/span>When he addressed the hearts of his listeners so powerfully and convincingly to fuse centrifugal and antagonistic elements in a compact and well-organized body, animated by ideas that are far from what had previously been in the Arab mind, then his was perfect Eloquence simply because he created a civilized nation from wild tribes and made a new shot in an old wave of history. \u201d <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\n\u201cWith today’s attempt to improve the performance of my predecessors and produce something that might be taken as a weak echo of the sublime rhetoric of the Arab Koran, I have painfully studied the complex and varied rhythms, apart from that Message itself – constitutes the undeniable claim of the Koran as the greatest literary masterpiece of humanity. <\/span>This very characteristic feature – „that inimitable symphony“ – how the believing Pickthall described his holy book, „the special sounds that make men tear and ecstasy“ – was completely ignored by previous translators; <\/span>so it\u2019s not surprising that what they forged sounds dull and flat compared to the beautifully decorated original. \u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Quran on the Quran <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

„And truly, We have made the Quran easy for admonition. <\/span>So is there someone who may be exhorted? \u201d <\/span>(Quran 54:17, 22, 32, 40 [repeated]) <\/span><\/span>
\n\u201cSo don’t you want to think about the Quran, or is it that your hearts are closed?\u201d <\/span>(Quran 47:24) <\/span><\/span>
\n„Truly, this Quran leads to what is really right and brings the good news to believers who do good deeds so that they may receive great reward.“ <\/span>(Quran 17: 9) <\/span><\/span>
\n\u201cVerily, We ourselves have sent this admonition, and surely We will be her keeper.\u201d <\/span>(Quran 15: 9) <\/span><\/span>
\n„All praise is due to God who sent the book down to His servant and put nothing crooked in it.“ <\/span>(Quran 18: 1)<\/span><\/span>
\n\u201cTruly, we have explained all kinds of parables to people in this Quran, but of all creatures, man is the most contentious. <\/span>And nothing prevented people from believing when the guidance came to them and asking for forgiveness from their Lord (unless) (they waited) until the example (fate) of the past came over them or (they) the punishment would be kept open. “ <\/span>(Quran 18: 54-55) <\/span><\/span>
\n\u201cAnd We send down from the Quran what is a healing and mercy for the believers; <\/span>but it only increases the harm to the unjust. \u201d <\/span>(Quran 17:82) <\/span><\/span>
\n\u201cAnd if you are in doubt about what We have sent down on our servants, bring up a sura of the same kind and call on your witnesses other than God if you are truthful.\u201d <\/span>(Quran 2:23)<\/span><\/span>
\n\u201cAnd this Quran could not have been devised except through God. <\/span>Rather, it is an affirmation of what preceded it and an explanation of the book – there is no doubt about it from the Lord of the Worlds. \u201d <\/span>(Quran 10:37) <\/span><\/span>
