As Muslims, we believe that there have been many Prophets chosen over time, which God revealed His Divine Books through. Some of these scriptures include the Torah (revealed to Prophet Moses), the Psalms (revealed to Prophet David) , the Injeel (Gospel) (revealed to Prophet Jesus), and finally, the Quran, which was revealed to God\u2019s Final Messenger, Prophet Muhammad (may peace be upon them all). All of these books taught the belief and worship of One God, but became distorted over time from the original message that was revealed. However, in God\u2019s final message to mankind, the Quran, Allah promises to protect and preserve it from falsehoods until the Day of Judgment:<\/p>\n
\u201cNo falsehood can approach it from before or behind it: It is sent down by One Full of Wisdom, Worthy of all Praise” (Quran 41:42).<\/p>\n
The Quran was revealed as a mercy to all of mankind, from all different cultures and all walks of life. The language, flow, miracles, and content of the Qur\u2019an makes it not only the most powerful, but also the most beautiful book that exists. It contains several unexplainable as well as scientific miracles that have only been recently discovered in modern science. Unlike other religious books, The Qur\u2019an also contains direct challenges from God in order to prove its inimitability and that it’s truly from God Himself. Allah says in the Quran: \u201cDo they not then meditate on the Qur\u2019an? And if it were from any other than Allah, they would have found in it many a discrepancy\u201d (Quran 4:82).<\/p>\n
Allah says in the Quran, if you want to challenge its origin, then simply come up with even a single chapter like it, however, no one has succeeded nor will succeed in doing so.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf all the humans and all the jinns bonded together in order to produce a Quran like this, they could never produce anything like it, no matter how much assistance they lent one another\u201d (Quran 17:88).<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd if you are in doubt as to which We have revealed to Our servant, then produce a surah<\/em> (chapter) like it, and call on your helper, besides Allah, if you are truthful” (Quran 2:23).<\/p>\n \u201cO mankind! verily there hath come to you a convincing proof from your Lord: for We have sent unto you a light (that is) manifest. Then those who believe in Allah and hold fast to Him soon will He admit them to Mercy and Grace from Him and guide them to Himself by a straight Way\u201d (Quran 4:174-175).<\/p>\n The Quran has never been changed since the time that it was revealed to Prophet Muhammad PBUH over 1400 years ago.
