Allah Says in The Noble Quran (interpretation of meaning), “\u02f9They were condemned\u02fa for breaking their covenant, rejecting Allah\u2019s signs, killing the Prophets unjustly, and for saying, ‘Our hearts are unreceptive!’\u2014it is Allah Who has sealed their hearts for their disbelief, so they do not believe except for a few\u2014and for their denial and outrageous accusation against Mary, and for boasting, ‘We killed the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, the messenger of Allah.’ But they neither killed nor crucified him\u2014it was only made to appear so. Even those who argue for this \u02f9crucifixion\u02fa are in doubt. They have no knowledge whatsoever\u2014only making assumptions. They certainly did not kill him. Rather, Allah raised him up to Himself. And Allah is Almighty, All-Wise” (Quran 4:155-158).<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
So Allah tells us that some of the Jews rejected Jesus (peace and blessings be upon him) as a Prophet, accused his mother, Mary, of immoral actions, and tried to kill Jesus. But when they tried to do so, Allah protected Jesus (Peace and Blessings be upon him) from death and raised him, and Muslims believe that Jesus will return back to earth and fight the antichrist, and after that, Jesus will die just like every other creation of Allah.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
One might ask, “But how come the Jews try to kill Jesus by crucifixion when they could have killed him in any other way?” This is because in their Old Testament, it clearly says that if someone is crucified or hanged, he is cursed by God (Deuteronomy 21: 22-23). Therefore, the Jews who wanted to deny Jesus (Peace and Blessings be upon him) as a Prophet wanted to crucify him to prove that Jesus was a cursed man and was not a true Prophet of God.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
