Do not be rude in speech<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cSo by mercy from Allah, [O Muhammad], you were lenient with them. And if you had been rude [in speech] and harsh in heart, they would have disbanded from about you. So pardon them and ask forgiveness for them and consult them in the matter. And when you have decided, then rely upon Allah . Restrain Anger<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cWho spend [in the cause of Allah] during ease and hardship and who restrain anger and who pardon the people \u2013 and Allah loves the doers of good.\u201d\u00a0\u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran 3:134<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>3. Be good to others<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cWorship Allah and associate nothing with Him, and to parents do good, and to relatives, orphans, the needy, the near neighbor, the neighbor farther away, the companion at your side, the traveler, and those whom your right hands possess. Indeed, Allah does not like those who are self-deluding and boastful.\u201d\u00a0\u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran 4:36<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>4. Do not be arrogant<\/h3>\n<p>\u201c[Allah] said, \u201cDescend from Paradise, for it is not for you to be arrogant therein. So get out; indeed, you are of the debased.\u201d\u00a0\u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran 7:13<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>5. Forgive others for their mistakes<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cShow forgiveness, enjoin what is good, and turn away from the ignorant.\u201d\u00a0\u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran 7:199<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>6. Speak to people mildly<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cAnd speak to him with gentle speech that perhaps he may be reminded or fear [Allah].\u201d\u00a0\u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran 20:44<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>7. Do not ridicule one another<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cO you who have believed, let not a people ridicule [another] people; perhaps they may be better than them; nor let women ridicule [other] women; perhaps they may be better than them. And do not insult one another and do not call each other by [offensive] nicknames. Wretched is the name of disobedience after [one\u2019s] faith. And whoever does not repent \u2013 then it is those who are the wrongdoers.\u201d \u00a0\u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran 49:11<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>8. Do not say a word of disrespect to your parents<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cSay not to them [so much as], \u201cuff,\u201d and do not repel them but speak to them a noble word\u201d \u2013\u00a0<cite>The Holy Quran\u00a017:23<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>9. Do not follow anyone blindly<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cAnd when it is said to them, \u2018Follow what Allah has revealed,\u2019 they say, \u2018Rather, we will follow that which we found our fathers doing.\u2019 Even though their fathers understood nothing, nor were they guided?\u201d\u00a0\u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran 2:170<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>10. Grant more time to repay if the debtor is in hard\u00a0times<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cAnd if someone is in hardship, then [let there be] postponement until [a time of] ease. But if you give [from your right as] charity, then it is better for you, if you only knew.\u201d \u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran 2:280<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>11. Do not engage in bribery<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cAnd do not consume one another\u2019s wealth unjustly or send it [in bribery] to the rulers in order that [they might aid] you [to] consume a portion of the wealth of the people in sin, while you know [it is unlawful].\u201d\u00a0\u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran\u00a02:188<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>12. Do not break promises<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cRighteousness is not that you turn your faces toward the east or the west, but [true] righteousness is [in] one who believes in Allah , the Last Day, the angels, the Book, and the prophets and gives wealth, in spite of love for it, to relatives, orphans, the needy, the traveler, those who ask [for help], and for freeing slaves; [and who] establishes prayer and gives zakah; [those who] fulfill their promise when they promise; and [those who] are patient in poverty and hardship and during battle. Those are the ones who have been true, and it is those who are the righteous.\u201d\u00a0\u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran 2:177<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>13. Stand out firmly for justice<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cO you who have believed, be persistently standing firm in justice, witnesses for Allah , even if it be against yourselves or parents and relatives. Whether one is rich or poor, Allah is more worthy of both. So follow not [personal] inclination, lest you not be just. And if you distort [your testimony] or refuse [to give it], then indeed Allah is ever, with what you do, Acquainted.\u201d\u00a0\u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran 4:135<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>14. Women also have the right for inheritance<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cAnd for women is a share of what the parents and close relatives leave, be it little or much \u2013 an obligatory share.\u201d\u00a0\u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran 4:7<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>15. Protect orphans<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cTo this world and the Hereafter. And they ask you about orphans. Say, \u201cImprovement for them is best. And if you mix your affairs with theirs \u2013 they are your brothers. And Allah knows the corrupter from the amender. And if Allah had willed, He could have put you in difficulty. Indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise.\u201d \u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran 2:220<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>16. Do not consume one another\u2019s wealth unjustly<\/h3>\n<p>O you who have believed, do not consume one another\u2019s wealth unjustly but only [in lawful] business by mutual consent. And do not kill yourselves [or one another]. Indeed, Allah is to you ever Merciful.\u00a0\u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran 4:29<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>17. Try for settlement between people<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cAnd if two factions among the believers should fight, then make settlement between the two. But if one of them oppresses the other, then fight against the one that oppresses until it returns to the ordinance of Allah . And if it returns, then make settlement between them in justice and act justly. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly.\u201d \u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran 49:9<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>18. Avoid assumption<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cO you who have believed, avoid much [negative] assumption. Indeed, some assumption is sin.\u201d \u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran 49:12<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>19. Do not spy and backbite<\/h3>\n<p>And do not spy or backbite each other. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his brother when dead? You would detest it. And fear Allah ; indeed, Allah is Accepting of repentance and Merciful- <cite>The Holy Quran 49:12<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>20. Spend wealth in charity<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cBelieve in Allah and His Messenger and spend out of that in which He has made you successors. For those who have believed among you and spent, there will be a great reward.\u201d\u00a0\u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran 57:7<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>21. Help those in need\u00a0by finding them<\/h3>\n<p>\u201c[Charity is] for the poor who have been restricted for the cause of Allah , unable to move about in the land. An ignorant [person] would think them self-sufficient because of their restraint, but you will know them by their [characteristic] sign. They do not ask people persistently [or at all]. And whatever you spend of good \u2013 indeed, Allah is Knowing of it.\u201d\u00a0\u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran 2:273<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>22.\u00a0Speak to the needy kindly<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cAnd if you [must] turn away from the needy awaiting mercy from your Lord which you expect, then speak to them a gentle word.\u201d\u00a0\u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran 17:28<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>23. Honour your guests<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cThen he turned quickly to his household, brought out a roasted fattened calf, and placed it before them.\u00a0 He said: \u2018Will you not eat?&#8217;\u201d- <cite>The Holy Quran 51:26<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>24. Be dutiful towards your parents<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cAnd your Lord has decreed that you not worship except Him, and to parents, good treatment. Whether one or both of them reach old age [while] with you.\u201d \u2013\u00a0<cite>The Holy Quran 17:23<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>25.\u00a0Practice what you preach<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cDo you order righteousness of the people and forget yourselves while you recite the Scripture? Then will you not reason?\u201d \u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran 2:44<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>26.\u00a0Stay away from corruption<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cEat and drink from the provision of Allah , and do not commit abuse on the earth, spreading corruption.\u201d- <cite>The Holy Quran 2:60<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>27. Fight only with those who fight you<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cFight in the way of Allah those who fight you but do not transgress. Indeed. Allah does not like transgressors.\u201d \u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran 2:190<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>28.\u00a0Keep striving<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cAnd that there is not for man except that [good] for which he strives\u201d\u00a0\u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran 53:39<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>29. There is no compulsion in religion<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cThere shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of] the religion. The right course has become clear from the wrong. So whoever disbelieves in Taghut and believes in Allah has grasped the most trustworthy handhold with no break in it. And Allah is Hearing and Knowing.\u201d\u00a0\u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran 2:256<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>30. Choose rulers by their merit<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cAnd their prophet said to them, \u201cIndeed, Allah has sent to you Saul as a king.\u201d They said, \u201cHow can he have kingship over us while we are more worthy of kingship than him and he has not been given any measure of wealth?\u201d He said, \u201cIndeed, Allah has chosen him over you and has increased him abundantly in knowledge and stature. And Allah gives His sovereignty to whom He wills. And Allah is all-Encompassing [in favor] and Knowing.\u201d\u201d\u00a0\u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran 2:247<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>31. Do not burden a person beyond his scope<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cAllah does not charge a soul except [with that within] its capacity. It will have [the consequence of] what [good] it has gained, and it will bear [the consequence of] what [evil] it has earned. \u201cOur Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we have forgotten or erred. Our Lord, and lay not upon us a burden like that which You laid upon those before us. Our Lord, and burden us not with that which we have no ability to bear. And pardon us; and forgive us; and have mercy upon us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people.\u201d\u201d\u00a0\u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran 2:286<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>32. Do not become divided<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cAnd hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided. And remember the favor of Allah upon you \u2013 when you were enemies and He brought your hearts together and you became, by His favor, brothers. And you were on the edge of a pit of the Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus does Allah make clear to you His verses that you may be guided.\u201d\u00a0\u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran 3:103<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>33. Men and Women have equal rewards for their deeds<\/h3>\n<p>And their Lord responded to them, \u201cNever will I allow to be lost the work of [any] worker among you, whether male or female; you are of one another. So those who emigrated or were evicted from their homes or were harmed in My cause or fought or were killed \u2013 I will surely remove from them their misdeeds, and I will surely admit them to gardens beneath which rivers flow as reward from Allah , and Allah has with Him the best reward.\u201d\u00a0\u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran 3:195<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>34. Do not be miserly<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cWho are stingy and enjoin upon [other] people stinginess and conceal what Allah has given them of His bounty \u2013 and We have prepared for the disbelievers a humiliating punishment.\u201d\u00a0\u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran 4:37<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>35. Do not be envious<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cOr do they envy people for what Allah has given them of His bounty? But we had already given the family of Abraham the Scripture and wisdom and conferred upon them a great kingdom.\u201d\u00a0\u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran 4:54<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>36. Do not be an advocate for deceit<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cIndeed, We have revealed to you, [O Muhammad], the Book in truth so you may judge between the people by that which Allah has shown you. And do not be for the deceitful an advocate.\u201d\u00a0\u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran 4:105<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>37.\u00a0Stay away from sin and aggression<\/h3>\n<p>\u201c\u2026\u00a0but do not cooperate in sin and aggression. And fear Allah ; indeed, Allah is severe in penalty.\u201d \u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran 5:2<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>38. Be just<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cO you who have believed, be persistently standing firm for Allah , witnesses in justice, and do not let the hatred of a people prevent you from being just. Be just; that is nearer to righteousness. And fear Allah ; indeed, Allah is Acquainted with what you do.\u201d\u00a0\u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran 5:8<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>39. Avoid intoxicants and alcohol<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cO you who have believed, indeed, intoxicants, gambling, [sacrificing on] stone alters [to other than Allah ], and divining arrows are but defilement from the work of Satan, so avoid it that you may be successful.\u201d\u00a0\u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran 5:90<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>40. Do not gamble<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cSatan only wants to cause between you animosity and hatred through intoxicants and gambling and to avert you from the remembrance of Allah and from prayer. So will you not desist?\u201d\u00a0\u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran 5:91<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>41. Do not insult others\u2019 deities<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cAnd do not insult those they invoke other than Allah, lest they insult Allah in enmity without knowledge. Thus We have made pleasing to every community their deeds. Then to their Lord is their return, and He will inform them about what they used to do.\u201d\u00a0\u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran 6:108<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>42. Eat and Drink, But Be Not Excessive<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cO children of Adam, take your adornment at every masjid, and eat and drink, but be not excessive. Indeed, He likes not those who commit excess.\u201d\u00a0\u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran 7:31<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>43. Protect and help those who seek protection<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cAnd if any one of the polytheists seeks your protection, then grant him protection so that he may hear the words of Allah . Then deliver him to his place of safety. That is because they are a people who do not know.\u201d\u00a0\u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran 9:6<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>44. Allah will forgive those who have done wrong out of\u00a0ignorance<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cThen, indeed your Lord, to those who have done wrong out of ignorance and then repent after that and correct themselves \u2013 indeed, your Lord, thereafter, is Forgiving and Merciful.\u201d\u00a0\u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran 16:119<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>45. Invitation to God should be with wisdom and good\u00a0instruction<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cInvite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction, and argue with them in a way that is best. Indeed, your Lord is most knowing of who has strayed from His way, and He is most knowing of who is [rightly] guided.\u201d\u00a0\u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran 16:125<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>46. Do not pursue that of which you have no knowledge<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cAnd do not pursue that of which you have no knowledge. Indeed, the hearing, the sight and the heart \u2013 about all those [one] will be questioned.\u201d\u00a0\u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran 17.36<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>47. Keep aloof from what is vain<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cAnd they who turn away from ill speech\u201d\u00a0\u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran 23:3<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>48. Do not enter others\u2019 houses without seeking\u00a0permission<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cO you who have believed, do not enter houses other than your own houses until you ascertain welcome and greet their inhabitants. That is best for you; perhaps you will be reminded.\u201d\u00a0\u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran 24:27<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>49. Walk on earth with\u00a0humility<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cAnd the servants of the Most Merciful are those who walk upon the earth easily, and when the ignorant address them [harshly], they say [words of] peace\u201d\u00a0\u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran 25:63<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>50. Judge with justice between people<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cIndeed, Allah commands you to render trusts to whom they are due and when you judge between people to judge with justice. Excellent is that which Allah instructs you. Indeed, Allah is ever Hearing and Seeing.\u201d\u00a0\u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran 4:58<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>51. Do not neglect your portion of this world<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cBut seek, through that which Allah has given you, the home of the Hereafter; and [yet], do not forget your share of the world. And do good as Allah has done good to you. And desire not corruption in the land. Indeed, Allah does not like corrupters.\u201d\u00a0\u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran 28:77<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>52. Enjoin right, forbid wrong<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cO my son, establish prayer, enjoin what is right, forbid what is wrong, and be patient over what befalls you. Indeed, [all] that is of the matters [requiring] determination.\u201d\u00a0\u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran 31:17<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>53. Do not walk in insolence through the earth<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cAnd do not turn your cheek [in contempt] toward people and do not walk through the earth exultantly. Indeed, Allah does not like everyone self-deluded and boastful.\u201d\u00a0\u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran 31:18<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>54. Women should not display their finery<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cAnd abide in your houses and do not display yourselves as [was] the display of the former times of ignorance. And establish prayer and give zakah and obey Allah and His Messenger. Allah intends only to remove from you the impurity [of sin], O people of the [Prophet\u2019s] household, and to purify you with [extensive] purification.\u201d\u00a0\u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran 33:33<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>55. Do not despair of the mercy of Allah<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cSay, \u201cO My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah.\u201d\u00a0\u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran 39:53<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>56. Decide on affairs by consultation<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cAnd those who have responded to their lord and established prayer and whose affair is [determined by] consultation among themselves, and from what We have provided them, they spend.\u201d\u00a0\u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran 42:38<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>57. The most noble of you is the most righteous<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cO mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted.\u201d\u00a0\u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran 49:13<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>58.\u00a0Act justly to people of all faiths<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cAllah does not forbid you from those who do not fight you because of religion and do not expel you from your homes \u2013 from being righteous toward them and acting justly toward them. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly.\u201d\u00a0\u2013 <cite>The Holy Quran 60:8<\/cite><\/p>\n<h3>59. Seek forgiveness of Allah. He is Forgiving and\u00a0Merciful<\/h3>\n<p>\u201cAnd whatever good you put forward for yourselves \u2013 you will find it with Allah . It is better and greater in reward. And seek forgiveness of Allah .
