Removing physical impurity and ritual impurity<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>2. Covering the intimate parts of the body (\u201bawrah)<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The \u201bawrah must be covered with clothing that is neither skin-tight, nor skimpy, nor see-through.<\/p>\n<h4>The \u201bawrah during the prayer is of three types:<\/h4>\n<p>For an adult woman: All her body is considered \u201bawrah except for the face and hands.<\/p>\n<p>For a small child: His \u201bawrah includes his private parts and the buttocks.<\/p>\n<p>For a man: His \u201bawrah is from the navel to the knees.<\/p>\n<p>As Allah \ufdfb says in the Qur\u2019an, \u201cChildren of Adam! Wear fine clothing for every prayer.\u201d (Soorat Al-A\u201braaf, 7:31) In fact, covering the intimate parts of the body is the minimum amount of clothing.<\/p>\n<figure style=\"width: 540px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/newmuslimguide.com\/sites\/newmuslimguide.com\/files\/book-images\/prayer3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"550\" height=\"300\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">When a Muslim woman offers the prayer, she must cover her entire body except for the face and hands. .<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>3. Facing the qiblah<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Allah <span class=\"style2\">I<\/span> says, \u201cWherever you come from, turn your face to the Holy Mosque [in Makkah].\u201d (Soorat Al-Baqarah, 2:149)<\/p>\n<div id=\"right-image\">\n<div class=\"mosaic-block bar\">\n<div class=\"details\">\n<p>\u00a0\u201cThe prayers are enjoined on the believers at stated times.\u201d (4:103) .<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"mosaic-backdrop\">\n<figure style=\"width: 250px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/newmuslimguide.com\/sites\/newmuslimguide.com\/files\/book-images\/prayer4.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"260\" height=\"220\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-caption-text\">\u00a0\u201cThe prayers are enjoined on the believers at stated times.\u201d (4:103) .<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>The direction Muslims face in prayer (qiblah) is the Ka\u201bbah, a cube-shaped building located inside the Holy Mosque in Makkah, which was originally constructed by Abraham u and to which the prophets had made a pilgrimage. It is true that it is a stone structure which can do neither harm nor good, but Allah \ufdfb commands the Muslims to face it during the prayer to serve as a focal and unifying point among them.<\/li>\n<li>A Muslim is required to face the Ka\u201bbah if he can see it in front of him. However, if he is far away from it and cannot see it, being in a different country, for instance, he can only face Makkah. The prayer is still considered valid with slight deviation from the direction of the qiblah, for the prophet \ufdfa said, \u201cWhatever is between the east and the west is the qiblah.\u201d (Sunan At-Tirmidhee: 342)<\/li>\n<li>If he cannot possibly face it due to illness, for instance, then he does not have to do so, for all obligatory acts are normally dropped in case of inability, as the Qur\u2019an states, \u201cTherefore, do your duty towards Allah to the best of your ability.\u201d (Soorat At-Taghaabun, 64:16)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>4. When its Appointed time Becomes Due<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The prayer will not be valid if it is offered before its time has started, and delaying it beyond its designated time is strictly forbidden, as the Qur\u2019an states, \u201cThe prayers are enjoined on the believers at stated times.\u201d (Soorat An-Nisaa\u2019,4:103)<\/p>\n<p>The following facts must be stressed regarding this point:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>It is better to offer the prayer as soon as its actual time becomes due.<\/li>\n<li>It must be offered at its stated times<\/li>\n<li>If a prayer is missed due to sleep or forgetfulness, it must be made up for as soon as it is remembered.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Source: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newmuslimguide.com\/en\/your-prayer\/142\">https:\/\/www.newmuslimguide.com\/en\/your-prayer\/142<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>1.
