Die Welt der Ğinn

(part 1 of 2)

The supernatural and the invisible have always had a strong attraction for people. The existence of a world next to our world has always fascinated people. This world is usually considered a spiritual world, and almost every people has their own ideas about it. For some people, these spirits are no more than the souls of dead people – or spirits. For other people, these spirits are more the forces of good or evil – both fighting to gain influence over humanity. However, these two explanations have more to do with folk stories and imagination. We find the true explanation of such a world in Islam. As with everything else, Islam has an explanation for the sphere of the invisible. This sphere is how Islam explains to us, is the realm of Ğinn. The Islamic Declaration from the Reichinn empire gives us so many answers to the things that are considered mysteries even in our modern times. Without knowledge of this world, Muslims would be like non-Muslims, walking around waiting for an old answer to come up against them. So who or what are Ğinn?

Existence

The Jinn are free will beings who live on earth in a parallel world to humanity. The Arabic word Ğinn is derived from the verb ´Ğanna´, which means hide or hide. Therefore, they are physically invisible to humans, as their description suggests. This invisibility is one of the reasons some people deny their existence. However, (as we shall see) the influence the Ğinn world has on our world shows enough to reject this modern denial.

The origins of the Ğinn can be traced back to the Quran and Sunnah. God says:

“And truly, we created man out of dry, clayey clay, out of black, formed mud. And We created the Jinn beforehand from the fire of the scorching embers. ” (Quran 15: 26-27)

So the Ğinn were created before men. As for their physical origin, the prophet that God’s blessings and peace were on him confirmed the verse above when he said:

“The angels were created from light and the Ğinn from smokeless fire.” (Sahieh Muslim)

It is this description of the Jinn that tells us so much about them. Because they were created from fire, their nature is generally fiery and therefore their relationship with humans builds on them. Like people, they have a duty to serve God and to follow Islam. Their goal in life is exactly the same as ours, because God says:

„And I created the Jinn and the people only so that they should (should) serve me.“ (Quran 51:56)

Ğinn can be Muslim or non-Muslim. However, due to their fiery nature, the majority of them are non-Muslims. All of these non-Muslim Ğinn form part of the army of the most famous Ğinn, Satan [1]. Accordingly, these Ğinn who refuse to believe are also called devils. Ğinn can also become Muslims, as they did in the time of the Prophet, when a group of them were amazed at the recitation of the Quran. God commanded the Prophet that God’s blessing and peace be upon him to tell people about this event:

“Say (O Muhammad):“ It was revealed to me that a band of Ğinn listened and then said: ‚Truly, we have heard a wonderful Quran leading to righteousness, so we believed in it and we will do not put anyone aside to our Lord.´ ”(Quran 72: 1-2)

The Ğinn are very similar to us in many aspects of their world. They eat and drink, marry, have children and die. However, their lifespan is much longer than ours. As we will, also called a last meeting with God, the most High. they will be present with mankind on the day of judgment, and they will go to paradise or to hell either.

skills

What clearly distinguishes the Ğinn from the people is their powers and abilities. God gave them these powers as a test for them. If they use it to oppress others, they will be held responsible. If we know their powers, we can often better understand the mysteries that surround us. One of these powers that the Jinn possess is that they can take any physical form they want. Therefore, they can appear as people, animals, trees and others. Thousands of people around the world have observed strange-looking creatures – and it seems there is no more plausible explanation than that of Jinn who took on these different shapes.

The ability to seize and possess the mind and body of another creature is also a force that the Jinn have used in great numbers for centuries. However, this is something that is forbidden to them because it means tremendous oppression of the other creature. Taking possession of a person has always attracted a lot of attention. But real knowledge about this topic is rare. The issue of seizure has been exploited commercially for the past thirty years. Films such as „The Exorcist“ and „Rosemarys Baby“ were made during the 1970s to inform people of the seizure. Because these institutions (the film industry) are very strongly influenced by Christianity, they had little knowledge of this topic.

Only through Islam can we understand such phenomena. We as Muslims know that Jinn can own people for many reasons. Sometimes it is because the Jinn or his family were accidentally injured. It could also be that the jinn fell in love with the person. However, in most cases the Ğinn only takes possession of one person because he is simply malicious and bad. For this reason, we were ordered to recite Quran regularly in our homes as the Prophet, God’s blessings and peace be upon him, said,

“Verily, Satan flees from the house where Sura al-Baqarah (the 2nd Chapter of the Quran) is recited. ” (Al-Tirmidhi)

If someone is possessed by a Ğinn, the name of God is used to drive them out again. If we look at the deeds of the Prophet and his companions, we find numerous supplications to drive out the Jinn. With all of them, God is asked to help the possessed person. How contrary is this to the modern exorcists today. In addition to God, many exorcists call the names of others to drive out the jinn. If the Ğinn actually disappears, then these people think that their way has been successful. However, this is a cunning of the Jinn, because he knows that if he obeys the exorcist, he has made him worship others besides God. The Ğinn usually comes back when the exorcist leaves because he knows that nothing can stop him from suppressing others than the words of God.

It is not always just people who are taken possession of, but also animals, trees and other objects. In doing so, the evil Ğinn hopes to make people worship other than God. Grasping idols is one way of doing this. Not so long ago, the worldwide phenomenon of Hindu idols who drank milk shocked the world. From Bombay to London, from Delhi to California, countless idols licked milk. Ganesh the elephant god, Hanuman the monkey god and even Shiva Lingam, the male reproductive organ (!), They all seemed to be drinking milk as if there was no tomorrow! Unfortunately, people were very taken with it and many went to feed the Hindu idols. This was undoubtedly a Ğinn’s feat in his classic attempt to

Hidden activities of the Ğinn

With their powers of flying and invisibility, the jinn are masters of occult activities. Woodoo, black magic, poltergeists, magic and media can be explained with the world of Ğinn, as can the illusions and tricks of the wizards. Because the Ğinn can travel long distances within a few seconds, their value is invaluable for magicians. For helping them with their magic, the Jinn require the wizards to serve them and Satan. So the wizards take the Jinn and Satan as Lord next to God. In our day and age, many magicians and entertainers undoubtedly perform tricks with the support of Ğinn. To make the Statue of Liberty disappear, fly over the Grand Canyon and recover a ship from the Bermuda Triangle, The Jewish magician David Copperfield accomplished all of this. There is NO other way a person could do such things except with the help of Ğinn. It wouldn’t be a surprise if David Copperfield personally sold his soul to Satan.

One of the most common activities related to the Ğinn is divination. Before the Prophet Muhammad appeared, fortune tellers and astrologers were widely used. These people used their Ğinn companions to find out about the future. The Jinn went to the lowest heaven and listened to what the angels were saying to each other about future events they had heard from God. Then the Jinn informed the fortune tellers. For this reason, many fortune tellers made very precise predictions. Since the arrival of the Prophet, however, the angels have carefully guarded the heavens, and anyone who tries to listen is fired at with meteors (falling stars):

“And we have saved him (heaven) from every cursed Satan; except for the one who is secretly listening (and who is then chasing an effective flame. ” (Quran 15: 17-18)

The Prophet also said: “They (the Ğinn) pass the message down until it reaches the lips of a magician or fortune teller. Sometimes a meteor overwhelms them before they can pass it on. If they passed it on before being hit, add another hundred lies to it. ” (Sahieh Al-Bukhari). This clearly shows why the predictions made by the fortune tellers sometimes apply. But it also provides proof of why they are doing so many wrong things. Men like Nostradamus are examples of this because some of his predictions about the future were right, while many others were completely wrong. Unfortunately, the number of soothsayers among Muslims is also increasing. If you visit Muslim countries like Morocco, you can see how much Ğinn – fortune teller activity there really is. If you watch the sky on a clear night in Morocco, you will see the sky shining with shooting stars! A clear sign of the devils who are driven away by the heavens.

Fortune tellers also work through their Qaries. The Qarien is the Ğinn, which is intended as companion for every human being. It is this Ğinn that whispers our basic desires and constantly tries to dissuade us from righteousness. The Prophet said: „Each of us is assigned a companion from the Jinn.“ The companions asked: „Even you, O Messenger of God?“ And the Prophet replied: „Even me, however, God helped me against him and he is Muslim become. Now he only says good things to me. ” (Sahieh Muslim). Because the Qarien stays with the person all his life, he knows what has happened to the person from the cradle to the grave. By contacting his Qarien, the fortune teller is able to pretend that he knows everything about the person. He looks into his crystal ball or into the palm of a person and amazes them with his knowledge of his life that no one else knows. The serious situation of those who go to a fortune teller is as the Prophet has told us: „The prayer of someone who approaches a fortune teller and asks him about something is not accepted for forty days or nights.“ (Sahieh Muslim) and: „Those who approach a fortune teller and believe what he says do not believe in what has been revealed to Muhammad.“ will not be accepted for forty days or nights. ” (Sahieh Muslim) and: „Those who approach a fortune teller and believe what he says do not believe in what has been revealed to Muhammad.“ will not be accepted for forty days or nights. ” (Sahieh Muslim) and: „Those who approach a fortune teller and believe what he says do not believe in what has been revealed to Muhammad.“

The influence of the jinn is not limited to fortune tellers. Other activities such as contacting the dead are manipulated by Ğinn. ‚Charlie, are you there? Speak to us, Charlie! ‚ are the type of words (names are of course different) that anxious relatives call out to get in touch with their loved ones. And when the Ğinn starts talking and communicating as ´Charlie´, he really leads people around by the nose.

One of the greatest manipulations of the Ğinn is through vision. Through these visions, the Jinn may be able to mislead more people from worship than any other way. When someone sees a vision before their eyes, it is something that is very difficult for them to explain. Only if you have knowledge of the world of Ğinn and are convinced of God can you fight such a temptation. The countless appearances of Jesus Christ and the Virgin Mary have been a famous choice of devils for centuries. It almost seems that misleading Christians is the easiest practice for the Jinn! The Christians not only let themselves be deceived by these visions, but often the Jinn also have voices and begin to speak. Christians consider this to be the voice of the angels and thus a proof of their faith. However, the amount of incomprehensible nonsense and trash you hear is clear evidence of the fact that it is actually the voices of the devils. For other people, visions of their parents or relatives are common things. By taking the form of human parents, the Jinn can convince people that the souls of dead people still mingle with people on Earth. This is why so many people believe in ghosts. The attack on satanic visions has also affected the Muslims. Many Muslims claim to have seen apparitions from the Prophet Muhammad and even from God! By doing so, Satan is able to mislead weak Muslims. Such visions often tell Muslims that the instructions of Islam do not apply to them. The Jinn tell them that prayer, fasting, Hağğ, etc. are not a duty for them. This is a big deception and, unfortunately, one that has been very effective. The satanic apparitions continue today. The death of Diana, Princess of Wales, showed tremendous love and adoration for this woman. The grief of the British people was so great that Diana was something divine. When Diana’s grief peaked, Apparitions have been spotted by her at Hamton Court Palace! If these visions actually occurred, the desire of Satan and his army of the Jinn to benefit from this event was obvious. Such appearances are very clear attempts by Satan to lead humanity away from God’s path.

Protection from the Jinn

Because they can see us, but we cannot see them, the Prophet Muhammad taught us many ways of protecting ourselves from their harm, such as taking refuge in Allah (God) from the cursed Satan, the suras ( Chapters 113 and 114 of the Holy Quran and reciting the words that God teaches us in the Quran: “And say:“ My Lord, I take refuge with you from the whispering of Satans. And I take my refuge with you, sir, so that they don’t approach me. ” (Quran 23: 97-98)

Says: Bismillah (in the name of Allah (God)) before you enter your houses, before you eat or drink, and before you have sex, because that will prevent Satan from entering your houses, your food and drink, or your sexual intercourse to participate. Accordingly, mentioning Allah’s name before going to the bathroom or taking off your clothes will prevent the Jinn from seeing your shame or harming you, as the Prophet has told us. Strength in belief and in religion in general protects the person from harm from the jinn.

Reciting the verse Ajat ul-Kursi in Arabic also provides strong protection from the Ğinn, as we learn from the story of Abu Hurairah (a companion of Muhammad) with a devil. [1]

And the Prophet Muhammad also said: „Do not make your houses graves, because Satan flees from a house in which Sura al-Baqara [Chapter 2] is recited.“ (Narrated by Sahieh Muslim)

These Arabic verses and statements from the Prophet are a few examples of how a Muslim receives protection from the Ğinn. Islam teaches us to get along with all of God’s creatures – and not just the Jinn. A true Muslim should neither fear Satan nor the Jinn, because Islam taught us about them and how we can get protection from their evil.

The world of the Jinn is both ominous, evil and extremely interesting. If we know about this world, we will be able to explain many of the mysteries and things that we encounter. By doing this, we can avoid the extremes that people have come to; nothing is more extreme than worshiping others besides God. By learning the monotheism of God, we can defend ourselves against these hidden allies of Satan:
„Verily, he (Satan) sees you, he and his company from where you do not see them.“ (Quran 7:27)

Footnotes:

[1] Abu Hurairah (a companion of Muhammad) said: „The Prophet Muhammad appointed me as a guardian over the compulsory alms that had been collected in the month of Ramadhan. Someone came and took some food from it. I held him and said, „I have to take you to the Prophet of God.“ He replied, „I am a needy man with a large family and I need it badly.“ So I let him go. When I met the Prophet the next morning, asked he me: „O Abu Hurairah! What did your prisoner do last night? „I replied,“ O Prophet of God! He complained of his urgent need and a large family. I felt sorry for him and let him go. „The Prophet said:“ He told you a lie and he will come again. “ Based on this statement from the Prophet, I was certain that he would return. I was waiting for him. He crept back up and started stealing food from the alms. I caught it and said, „I have to take you to the Prophet.“ He replied: „Let me go, I am a needy man. I have to look after a large family. I will not come back.“ I felt sorry for him again and let him go. At sunrise I went to the Prophet who asked me, „O Abu Hurairah! What did your prisoner do last night?“ I replied: „O Prophet of God! He complained of his urgent need and a large family. I felt sorry for him and let him go.“ The Prophet said, „He told you a lie and he will come again.“ (This man) came back to steal food. I caught it and said, „I have to take you to the Prophet of God, and this is the last of three times. You promised me you wouldn’t come back, but you did come.“ He replied: „Let me go and I will teach you a few words that will benefit you from God.“ I asked, „What are these words?“ He replied, „When you go to sleep, recite Ajat al-Kursi (Quran 2: 255), God will make you a keeper and no devil will be able to approach you until morning.“ Then I let him go. The next morning the Prophet of God asked me, „What did your prisoner do last night?“ I replied, „He promised to teach me a few words that he claimed would benefit me from God. So I let him go. „The Prophet asked,“ What were these words he taught you? „I replied,“ He said to me, when you go to bed, recite Ajat al-Kursi from the beginning to the end and thereby that you recite them, God will designate a keeper over you who will protect you at night, and no devil will be able to approach you until morning. „The Prophet said,“ Truly he told you the truth, even though he’s a liar. O Abu Hurairah! Do you know who you’ve been talking to for the past three nights? „I said,“ No. „The Prophet replied,“ It was a devil. „(Reported by Sahieh Al-Bukhari) when you go to sleep, recite ayat al-kursi from the beginning to the end, and by reciting them, God will designate a keeper over you who will protect you at night and no devil will be able to approach you until to the morning. „The Prophet said,“ Truly he told you the truth, even though he is a liar.
